Our Team
Staff
Amethyst Place staff models effective parenting, teaches conflict resolution skills, provides emotional support and helps families prepare for healthy, successful and independent lives. Our Executive Director oversees the program and the property and leads the Amethyst Place staff. Additional staff members include an Administrative Assistant, Program Technicians and Overnight Resident Assistants. Together, this staff provides the residents with safe, secure housing, and access to services twenty-four (24) hours a day.
Lisa Mizell is the Executive Director for Amethyst Place. She brings with her over twenty years of experience in social services and a wealth of enthusiasm and compassion. As the Executive Director for Amethyst Place, she is the central person of contact if you have any questions regarding our program.

Amethyst Place Board of Directors
The Amethyst Place Board consists of individuals from agencies at the front line, as well as community volunteers who recognize and understand the problems recovering women with children have in securing affordable, safe housing in a drug-free environment. Current Board members are listed below:
